Description

This Lemon Butter Salmon is a simple, elegant dish that comes together in under 20 minutes, making it perfect for a quick and healthy weeknight dinner. A rich, tangy sauce of butter, garlic, and fresh lemon juice perfectly complements the flaky salmo...

Instructions

1

Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towel and season both sides with salt and pepper.

2

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon skin-side down, press gently for 10 seconds, and cook 4-6 minutes until skin is golden and crispy.

3

Flip salmon and cook 2-4 minutes on the other side until desired doneness. Remove and set aside.

4

Reduce heat to medium. Add 1 tbsp butter and minced garlic, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.

5

Deglaze pan with white wine or broth, scraping up browned bits. Simmer until reduced by half.

6

Stir in lemon juice and optional capers. Reduce heat to low and whisk in remaining butter one piece at a time. Add parsley.

7

Return salmon to pan, skin-side up, and spoon sauce over fillets. Serve immediately.
